Inspired by Loss, Driven by Purpose
A Life Changing Call
In the wake of a devastating loss that shook his world, Vonn Webb, former Fresno State Men’s Basketball Coach, found a new purpose. On May 10, 2022, Vonn received the heart-wrenching call that every parent fears – his youngest son, Taelin, had tragically lost his life to a fentanyl overdose at just 26 years old. Taelin, a standout athlete with dreams of playing in the NFL, was disciplined, passionate, and in peak physical condition. The news of his untimely passing left Vonn with unanswered questions and an overwhelming sense of grief.
Driven by his son’s memory and the desire to prevent others from suffering a similar fate, Vonn decided to use his public platform and voice to sound the alarm about the dangers of fentanyl. With the support of his players and community, Vonn is on a mission to educate others about the deadly consequences of fentanyl abuse and provide support to those affected by addiction.
Through his personal journey of loss and resilience, Vonn launched a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and bridging resources for individuals impacted by the fentanyl crisis. His goal is to honor Taelin’s memory by making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and preventing further tragedies. Join us in our mission to educate, support, and advocate for change in the fight against fentanyl addiction. Together, we can save lives and build a brighter future for our community.
